Shazia Imran

Sydney artist and sculptor, Shazia Imran is best known for her expressive mixed media pieces. She draws her inspiration from her travels, exploring the infinite expressiveness of her subjects through watercolours, acrylics and mixed media.

Her works have been exhibited internationally and hang in private collections in the US, UK and Australia.

She is currently exhibiting her work in New York and Sydney. She was invited to participate in 2015 Florence Biennale, where she won the Lorenzo il Magnifico award for her mixed media pieces.  She also won an award at the London Biennale  in April 2017. 

Shazia was featured in the TV show Colour in Your Life, she demonstrated how to create a figurative mixed media painting. The recording is available here shazia.com.au/tv
