Since my childhood I loved to express my feelings through visual means such as drawing, painting and sketching. I have completed several art courses in my birth country, Egypt, prior to migrating to Australia. On arriving I fell in love with the raw beauty of Australian nature; the lights, the colours, the water and the bush.

I was eager to extend my skills in painting so I enrolled and completed several art courses and workshops at Willandra Art Studio and undertook tutoring under several prominent artists.

Through overseas painting tours I added impressions from Italy, France, Canada and more. Painting and sketching the diverse scenery with their distinct cultures, colours and architecture not only challenged but also inspired me.

I have received many awards and High Commendations through the years for my paintings
