Madelaine Batchelor (EmBe)
Local Artist

Madelaine commenced painting in 1995, taking lessons at Balcombe Heights Leisure Learning Centre. She was then encouraged to join the Castle Hill Art Society and continued lessons with noted local artists. It was not long before she exhibited at many popular venues, among them are the Orange Blossom Festival, the Hawkesbury Show, Aberdoon House and Stan Stevens Studios at Windsor and of course the White House. Also further afield at Cootamundra Soroptimists, the Central Coast, Blackheath and Sydney. During that time she also joined Macquarie Towns Art Society widening her experience.

Madelaine paints in oils, pastels, acrylics, and specialises in painting animals - studies of horses and dogs, even frogs and fishes! Numerous people commission paintings of their favourite pet, past or present. Also paintings of historic buildings, which have been purchased by a historical society and people wishing to perpetuate treasured memories of old family homes.

Please respect their work and do not use without their permission
