Lyndsey Hatchwell

Born in NZ 1963.
I am a third generation artist and sculptor. Introduced to these artistic pursuits at an early age, I have enhanced my skills through further study over the years.

I have fostered an eclectic arts practice, and have a wide repertoire of styles and subject matter. I use a combination of traditional and non-traditional techniques and experiment with paint mediums, colour and texture. I enjoy this element of exploration as this ensures the growth and development of my work.

My work is gaining a following in Sydney in particular for my vibrant florals and I have many works in private collections here and overseas.

Finalist 2008 The Hills Grammar $8000 Acquisitive Art Prize & Finalist 2009 "Bald Archy".
