Caroline Pullinger
Caroline is a practising registered nurse with a background in the arts.
She has studied Industrial Design & Ceramics at East Sydney Tech.,
Porcelain art with the NSW Teachers Institute of Porcelain Art,
Watercolour painting with well-respected Sydney artists,
Acrylic painting with Garry Foye's Mentoring Programme,
Mixed media at the Bathurst School of Art.
Caroline paints in acrylic and mixed media.
Her aim is to observe and simplify.
With many camping trips into the Australian bush she has collected a great supply of painting inspirations.
She likes abstracting images from the landscape using close-up focus studies, show-casing line, marks and texture, translating the essence of her inspiration onto canvas or paper.
International travels have influenced her contemporary ladscapes and still life with the introduction of vivid colours.
The use of mixed media and collage contributes further intrigue and energy.
